Ich musste schmunzeln, als ich mir in der Mittagspause in der Treasure Gallery den Bereich zur Magna Carta von 1215 angesehen habe. Direkt am Eingang wird der Besucher informiert, dass „Only three of the original clauses in Magna Carta are still law.“ – Ich finde es höchst erstaunlich, dass immer noch 3 Klauseln aus einem Dokument von 1215 (vor fast 800 Jahren!) rechtsgültig sind.

I had to smile a bit, when entering the Treasure Gallery at British Library and seeing the comment on Magna Carta „Only three of the original clauses in Magna Carta are still law.“ – I personally think, it’s quite astonishing that after nearly 800 years there still are legal clauses originating in this document from 1215!
